Student Development Activities 2023-2024
Student development activities are designed to enhance the overall growth and well-being of students, fostering not only academic success but also personal, social, and emotional development. These activities aim to equip students with essential skills, values, and experiences that contribute to their holistic development.
Debate Competition
On 4th September 2023, a Debate on the topic "Education for All" was organised. The Students of Std IX participated in the debate.
Carrier Guidance
On 7th December 2023, 25 students went to Adarsh Gram, Amona Canacona for a special programme” Career opportunities Arina” on 7th December along with Sir Vishwanath S. Pai.
Faith Sharing
06th September 2023, 07 students and Tr. Melba Dias went for the Faith Sharing at Maria Bambina School, Cucolim.
Live Streaming of Chandrayaan 3
Chandrayaan-3 is an Indian Space Research Organization mission that landed near the south pole of the Moon on Aug. 23, 2023. The mission includes a lander and a rover. India plans to demonstrate end-to-end landing and roving capabilities.
The live streaming of the same landing on the moon was done in our school, highlighting the objectives of the mission.

A days Carrier Guidance talk was arranged in the school on 18th August 2023 for Std. IX and X,
Biodiversity Seminar
Biodiversity is the variety of living things, including plants, animals, microorganisms, and fungi. It also includes the genetic information these organisms contain and the ecosystems they form.
on 14th July 2023 Biodiversity Management committee in association with Loliem Pollem Gram Panchayat organized a day seminar for the students of schools falling under Loliem Pollem Gram Panchyat.
Our students participated in it along with Tr. Pratiksha.
Coding and Robotics
The Government of Goa has introduced Coding and Robotics in the syllabus of std VI to VIII. The students are exposed to new programming languages such as SCRATCH, HTML, CSS, KOJO and image editing software such as GIMP, blender and Sonic pi. Special elective course is introduced by the government of Goa in selected schools in which 6 students of our school took active part this year and displayed their talent.
This year we got 30 new computers in the school.
Manohar Parrikar Vidnyaan Mahotsav
10 students along with Tr. Hylette Gonsalves and Miss Renifa D'Souza participated in the 5th Manohar Parrikar Vidnyan Mahotsav in Government Higher Secondary, Canacona. The students had an opportunity to listen to the talk of eminent speakers during the function.
Dance Classes
Dance Classes for the students who wants to learn Classical and Semi-Classical dance in the school is arranged in the school for primary and high school students. a total of 60 students have joined this classes. A Professional dance teacher from Karwar is hired to school to take this classes. Dance classes are conducted in the school on every Thursday.
Kala Academy Music Classes
Two students Miss Shreya V. Pai and Master Paras Naik along with a teacher Sir Rupesh Velip joined for classical music in Harmonium and Tabla coaching at Kala Academy Centre, Canacona. They have completed 1 year of certifivation this year.
